The Berkshires

A few weeks ago, looking for a little escape from the crowded city, we hopped in the car and took a drive out to Western Mass. After stops in Amherst and Northampton, we ended up in the sweet little town of Stockbridge and stayed at the most welcoming and historic B&B [1862 Seasons on Main]. It was the nicest, most relaxing weekend I’ve had in ages. I love my city life, but when the chance to get away for some peace + quiet arises, I can rarely turn it down.

Breakfast (in bed) at Tiffany’s

I’m not sure which came first.  My love of Tiffany’s…

Or my love of Breakfast at Tiffany’s…

Either way, I was thrilled to hear (by way of The Preppy Princess) that now, with a little bit of dough (i.e. $8,500 a night), you too can enjoy breakfast at Tiffany’s… and I don’t mean a sticky bun in the early hours while staring into the store.  I mean at the St. Regis‘s new Tiffany & Co. themed suite.

The dining room painted Tiffany blue and accented with jewelry-inspired details, the living room with views overlooking Fifth Ave and Central Park, the bedroom with a porcelain flower installation– this suite is the definition of luxury.

Now that the word is out, when do you think reservations will become available?  I’m thinking I should get my name on a waiting list now for my wedding night ten years down the road… maybe by then I’ll be able to afford it!
