I have a bad habit of taking a lot of things for granted, and one of those things is my skin. In my twenties, I’m out of my adolescent break-out phase, and not yet old enough to have to worry about my skin aging, so I should be in the clear! …Or am I? Thinking about all the late nights I come home and flop into bed without taking off my makeup… all of the carefree summer days I spend lounging in the sun… the stress caused by any twenty-something’s life that is bound to wreck havoc on my skin… now I’m a little more awake and concerned.

I am so excited to be sharing one of the best kept shopping secrets in Boston today– Savas Studios!

Half clothing boutique, half photography + makeup studio, this place seriously has it all. Owned by sisters Christine and Steph Savas (multitalented makeup artist/photographer/overall fashionistas), they carry a number of local designers (which I LOVE + appreciate), plus ones from California, New York, London… and you all know how I feel about British fashion.

Coolest little extra? They offer feather hair extensions that they’ll put in for you!

Really funky + feminine + fun, this shop has awesome price points and I really cannot get enough of it. So Boston friends get over there soon and everyone else, get entering!

The shoes I’m wearing here are easily one of my favorite pairs I’ve ever owned. They’re so special to me because I got them in Paris four years ago (?!) when I was there with my family. And they go with just about every outfit I own so they were incredibly worth it. They are long gone from Lacoste, but Gabriella Rocha sells an almost identical style, available in 5 10 16 colors! I’m lusting over the pale pink ones though:
