Thank goodness for Friday– and for Friday’s Fancies! Looking at my closet the other day, I realized I am actually very cautious about going monochromatic, and especially with mixing blues… which seems funny considering that blue is probably the colors available in the most shades! So this was a challenge, but the more I look at it, the more I think I’d like to incorporate monochrome into my daily looks!

Introducing: Skiler Love

Boston isn’t New York. Boston doesn’t try to be New York. But in all fairness, this city is home to a lot of local design talent, NY Fashion Week or no. I met with Alyssa Davis, designer behind Skiler Love, a recently launched jewelry line, and I am so excited to introduce you to her brand and invite you to her upcoming launch.

From bangles to body chains and charms to brooches, her newest collection, entitled Bohemian Luxe, is “one part vintage charm, a dose of modern simplicity and a stylish sized portion of individuality.” They are unique and feminine with just the right amount of edginess– and so very delicate. Dreaming of Fashion Week

I know I said I didn’t like making seasonal to-do lists, but I do have a life bucket list. On that list, somewhere between live in London and be in a movie, lies a dream to attend New York Fashion Week. One thing I didn’t even realize until I got into my twenties was that there is a very clear and distinct wedding season, and we are right in the midst of it!
